Summer vacation gets closer and closer with every passing moment, relaxation and good times are nigh. However, many people find that after the initial excitement of school getting out of the tedious cycle of studying hard and working on homework, a lot of students find that they are stuck without a clue on how to use the their fairly large amount of free time.
It’s summer vacation, and that means swimming pools, beaches, sun tanning and more. So before the words “I wish I had something to do” creep out of your mouth, stop, crack out the old ‘game face’, spray some cologne, maybe do some push-ups to get the blood flowing, and fellas; go get yourself a girl, ladies, you can go get yourselves a girl too!
There is nothing that keeps you more occupied, entertained, troubled, and on your toes, like the opposite sex-or the same sex if you roll that way- it doesn’t take a whole lot to get your sites set on somebody, but that’s only phase one. See, when it comes to fraternization (as it is commonly referred to as) there are a couple ways in which one can go about starting a relationship with your ‘lover for the summer’.
The best things in life are the things that aren’t or never have to be forced, so there’s no need to plan out some big thing; mapping out where all the ‘honey hotspots’ are or anything like that. Just go out, be social, do things and go to places instead of sitting inside all day, just go to places that you like to hang out at and if you see something you like; go for it.
The ‘art’ (if you can call it that) of getting or finding somebody that you want to possibly get in to a ‘thing’ with somebody is as simple as just doing what you like and letting the people who would naturally be your friends come to you. This process might take awhile for some, and no doubt once you’ve achieved your goal, the post-success drama that will no doubt ensue, should keep you engrossed and occupied well after your summer has ended. The whole path is filled with pain and heartbreak, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll come out of the situation unscathed, but hey it’s something to do.
