The Bravest Warriors cast on the opening screen of each episode.

It’s nice to watch a TV show without everyone dying and/or won’t stop talking about drama or relationships. Here are some cartoons to watch when a person just wants to be amused without all of the crazy.

1. Gravity Falls

Gravity Falls is shown on Disney channel and, unlike all of the other new Disney shows, isn’t horrible and actually features humor. This series was put into motion by Alex Hirsch who created the idea based up his and his twin sister’s lives and summers . The show is about two twins, Dipper and Mabel, and their adventures with the supernatural in the weird town Gravity Falls with their great-uncle Stan who really shouldn’t be watching over them, tries to rip off the entire town with his scams. The series is hilarious and Mabel brings the wacky humor and Dipper the awkward humor, but their scenes and interactions are cute as siblings in TV who don’t actually hate each other.

2. Over the Garden Wall

Over the Garden Wall is a short series, each episode being about ten minutes long, out of a ten episodes in total run. Despite all of this, the show is amazing and well-thought out, and shows some darker humor. The background of this show are beautifully done, and the voice talent features Elijah Wood as the main character, Wirt. This show was also, like Gravity Falls, in the making for several years before picked up by Cartoon Network. This show is about two brothers, Greg and Wirt, along with a bluebird Beatrice and a frog with many names (such as George Washington and Doctor Cucumber) who are trying to find their way out of a forest. Also, they’re also being hunted down by a guy trying to kill them to keep his weird lantern light, which is pretty cool.

3Bravest Warriors

Bravest Warriors is a web series created by Cartoon Hangover that’s posted on YouTube for all to see. The creator of this show also made the well-known Adventure Time, but the Bravest Warriors is more geared towards adults or older kids. Bravest Warriors is a fast paced wittily written show with a cast of four equally different but funny in different ways cast of kids who have taken over for their parents as paid helpers around the galaxy after their parents are trapped in another dimension. The four main characters(Wallow, Danny, Beth, and Chris) are all best friends who have known each other since childhood. The show is a science-fantasy with all the ships that takes them around, all their gadgets, and things like unicorns and mermaids.

4. Bee and Puppycat

Bee and Puppycat is a new show also brought on by Cartoon Hangover so it wouldn’t normally be mentioned but it’s so cute with a wacky sense of humor so hey, what the heck, let’s do it. Bee and Puppycat is about a girl named Bee who takes space jobs to fictional planets for money, and runs into Puppycat who “looks like a cat but just smell”. Bee and Puppycat has an adorable cutesy animation style, just as cute as another great cartoon Steven Universe, where even Puppycat wearing a leather jacket with spikes makes people go aww, in all part due to the extremely talented creator of the series, Natasha Allegri. Also available on YouTube, we’re excited to see where this show goes next.

5Bob’s Burgers

At this point, who hasn’t heard of Bob’s Burgers but well it’s great so here it is. Bob’s Burgers is a TV show rated ages fourteen and up with funny jokes geared towards adults that don’t rely on being offensive for humor. The show’s about a family who run a burger restaurant, and each episode is consistently full of laughs. Unlike many other cartoons, Bob’s Burgers is all recorded with everyone in the same room, and some lines are ad-libbed as they’re all comedians. Bob’s Burgers is currently on it’s fifth season, and the show can be found on Netflix.
