Ellie is a junior and a first-year staffer for the Standard, and is constantly looking for a new adventure. Her hobbies include going on road trips with her friends and finding hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, as well as vintage bookstores. Call her crazy, but she loves to run. Cross country and track are Ellie's main sports and she enjoys hanging out with her best friends and teammates, who are pretty much her second family. When she is not running she likes to discover new ways to exercise; so far her favorites have been kickboxing and TRX. Occasionally, she goes to alternative rock concerts, and when she gets bored while doing her homework, she immediately turns to 8tracks to find new music to listen to. Two things you'll never find Ellie without are her white converse and a book, and if you ask her what she's doing on her phone she'll most likely say "Tumblr". She likes to talk about a variety of topics, including the meaning of dreams, books, nutrition, theology and boys, so feel free to go and say hi.
