The boys varsity basketball team lost to Blue Valley West in overtime on Friday, Feb. 12. This was the Timberwolves’ second loss of the season to the Jaguars.

The Timberwolves maintained a steady lead on the Jaguars in the first half of the game, with a score of 20-15 at halftime. However, BV West took the lead the second half of the game, and the Timberwolves brought the score to a 47-47 tie in the last few seconds of the fourth quarter.

The Timberwolves ultimately fell to Jaguars 56-59 in overtime.

The team plays Smithville on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Smithville.
