The boys varsity soccer team defeated Blue Valley North 2-0 on Thursday, Oct. 1.
After an uneventful start to the game, senior Carter Yancey scored with 4:31 left in the first half. Just a minute later, junior Sam Gettings scored, moving the score to 2-0, with Southwest in the lead.
The win brings the Timberwolves’ record to 9-1.
The team plays De Soto next on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at De Soto.
