Natalie Ayres

Most people focus on one thing they love, whether that’s a sport or a club. For junior Natalie Ayres, she loves doing it all.

“Right now I’m doing school volleyball, club soccer, student council,” Ayres said. “And in the winter I’ll be doing basketball, and then in the spring, school soccer, and then I just got asked to be in the Southwest Relay for Life, so I’ll help plan that this year.”

Ayres said she loves being on student council and making connections with other people.

“My favorite part is getting to build relationships with the students I’m working close with,” Ayres said.  “While also getting to make decisions and getting to represent my class and my school.”

Ayres has always been busy, especially with sports.

“I’ve always done stuff outside of school for as long as I can remember, even when I was in middle school,” Ayres said. “I remember there was a period of time where I was doing four sports at once.”

While Ayres is very involved with her school, she also participates in activities outside of school.

“I’m also pretty involved with volunteering and working at my church,” Ayres said.“Helping with kids and Sunday school and I really like that.”

Ayres says that she enjoys staying busy because it keeps life interesting .

“I love to be busy,” Ayres said. “I have always been that way, always going, going, going. I always have something to do and I love it that way.”
