Forty-five miles per hour is about the average speed for cars, but for go-karts which have no walls, roof or hood, 45 miles per hour practically warrants a speeding ticket. Sadlers Indoor Racing provides an enclosed race track and holds 10, 15 and 30 minute races in some of the fastest go-karts in the Midwest. An arcade, pool tables and a concession stand are also available. Parental consent is needed for drivers under 18 years old, but racers can still drive solo. Girls and guys are equally welcome to race, and both might find they are surprisingly good at avoiding spin-outs, drifting and kicking- butt on the track.

“The best part of Sadlers is after the race. You get a paper that tells you your fastest times and how well you did.”
