This year in the soccer world the players have been introduced to a new line of soccer cleats revolutionized to help players become their very best.  With the amount of soccer cleats available with such great reviews, it seems impossible to find the right pair that is just right. With help from this list it should help

10)At number ten in this countdown, is the classic Nike premier cleats. If a player wants a classic look and feel, these cleats would be the pair to get. Nike has spent years trying to perfect this cleat by giving it the classic look and feel while putting in the modern technology that the high priced shoes have.

9)The ninth cleat is made for a special type of play and position. The Nitrocharge cleats made by Adidas. . These cleats perform very well for a player who moves laterally fast and a lot. If a player is an outside defender who is looking for an upgrade these are great.

8)The Nike Mercurial Veloce is coming in at number 8 and one of the highest quality     mid-tier boots there is.  Nike did a great job this year by putting out a pair of cleats that are not in the upwards of three hundred dollars but still have the technology. They are the same boot but the only difference is the quality of the material. This material is not near the expensive material but it gets the job done.

7)The next cleat is the shoe recommend if you do not like the Mercurial Veloce. Now, at number seven, we have the Nike Tiempo Legend 5’s. This shoe has one of players favorite looks while looking sporty, clean and classic. They are great for dribbling and passing. If a player is an midfielder, this shoe would be great for you and your game.

6)Moving Back to Adidas  the F50 adizero coming in at six. Varsity defender Ethan Diedel stated “These shoes are great I love the feel for when you touch the ball. The only problem with them is that i like wearing long thick socks and the shoes get very tight and hurt after a while if you are wearing too thick of socks.”

This is the shoe that really gives the feel of playing barefoot, look into these.

5)The fifth on the list is the Puma evoPOWER1. This shoe is the very best option for you if you are a power striker or center attacking mid. The company of YaYa Toure and Mario Balotelli wore these the week of the release. These shoes not only are the best for power but weigh in at 7.4 ounces which is ridiculously light.

4)The next Nike shoe on this is the Nike Magista’s. Varsity midfielder Matthew Weaver says “These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.”

This is his second pair he has had and isn’t even considering looking for another. He could not find one thing wrong with them. I do have to say they are probably going to suit a winger or outside mid better, mainly because they are one of the tighter shoes Nike has to offer, so cutting in and legging out defenders will be easier than a generic pair.

3)Nike Mercurial Superfly is in first of the top three for 2014. These are engineered and made to the highest quality. These shoes will give you the highest form of comfort on the market besides one other boot which is the Magista’s above. These shoes have the rare ankle brace attached to the shoe that gives it not only top of the line comfort but support to the ankle. It has been created after years of experimenting in other sports. If budget isn’t an issue, these are a great pair of shoes to go with.

2))Runner up in this countdown is The Nike Total 90’s. These are the most worn cleats throughout the professional players around the world. Like the other top line Nike shoes these are going to be very expensive. The shoes can’t be denied by the price though. Besides the weight coming in at 11.4 ounces, these cleats are by far the most comfortable and powerful cleats while keeping accuracy.

1)The winner of the countdown is another Nike product being the Nike Hypervenom Phantom’s. These boots provide the highest quality of material. The grip you get from kicking    the ball is ridiculous. The cleats have indents on the outside to grip the ball and put movement on the ball.

“These shoes are crazy. I’m not someone who puts crazy movement on the ball but these cleats do exactly that. My only concern with them is the comfort is a problem when breaking them in.” Jake Urness, freshman utility player said. These shoes are by far the most balanced cleats on the market but also have a steep price in the range of three hundred dollars. If budget is not a problem, these are the very best you can buy right now.
