At the boys varsity football game on Friday, Oct. 7, Southwest faced Blue Valley High school. At halftime, the score was 0-10 Blue Valley High. During halftime, the band performed its show “End Game.” Then, during the third quarter, #8 sophomore Billy Bartlett scored Southwest’s sole touchdown of the game. At the end of the third quarter the score of the game was 6-31 Blue Valley High. The game ended in a defeat for Southwest, with a score of 6-39 Blue Valley High.
