Hello everyone! My name is Kayla and I'm a junior here at Southwest. I'm a photographer on the Southwest Frontier and this is my first year working on newspaper. My whole world tends to revolve around art so any piece of paper I can get my hands on has some kind of doodle on it. I also get overly excited when I'm working on an art project, it's probably the only time you'll see me dance around the room and jabber on and on until people tell me to shut up. I'm also an evid equestrian rider, reader and food connoisseur, because food is important. Almost as important as art, but not quite. Most of the time, I'm the quiet, rational one that always has something sarcastic or blunt to say but that's ok because you can't help but love me anyways. You'll probably see me around this year chasing people around with a camera in hand but stay calm, it's just for newspaper. Well, that just about sums it up, I hope everyone has a great year at Southwest!
