Juniors:
– Start preparing for the ACT/SAT
-Meet with a variety of college
representatives
-“You need to develop ‘soft skills’,”
counselor Kevin Halfmann said. “Such
as how to overcome obstacles, how to
interact well with others and how to take
criticism. These are the different skills
that are going to make you successful
when you go to college.”
Seniors:
-Sign up for the Oct. SAT/ACT.
-If you have not signed up
already, it is not too late — talk
to your counselor to get
registered.
-Make sure you have started applying to
the colleges you are looking at.
-Deadlines for applications will begin
as early as November, especially for early
decision.
